Rotomoulding
Rotational moulding enables the production of a wide variety of plastic parts.
The main advantage of this technology is the great freedom in designing new products. That is why it is often taken into account when designing products in various industries, from technical elements through furniture and interior and exterior space elements to toys. Rotomoulding is also the most economical process for producing large-sized and complex-shaped products.
The production process involves filling a two- or multi-part mould with an appropriate amount of material in the form of polyethylene powder and exposing it to high temperature, while slowly rotating the mould around two perpendicular axes.
The movement of the mould is continued in the next stage, i.e. in the mould cooling phase. After its completion, the mould is opened and the finished product, shaped as a monolithic layer of material solidified on its walls, is removed from it.
